This is a hand I thought was kind of interesting from tonights 150. I have 15.8k, slightly above average. We are already in the money ~40 left. There is an EP limper (12k) that doesn't seem very good, however I don't remember him ever open limping in his ~20 mins at the table. I have 99 in EMP. BB is 1200. What's the play?

i think i raise to 3000, if he limp pushes, i fold.

Ok so since the PF isn't very interesting, I will move on to what I did. I was so befuddled by the EP limp that I just limped along too. A player, who wasn't very good, 2 behind me pushed his 18k stack in, EP now folds, do you call or fold?

meh, i fold.. 1.3:1 odds... i give him a good bit of credit and i think i'm like a 40% dog vs his range.

Everytime I see a huge push I always think mid-pair (88-JJ) or AK as the only 2 possible hands.. I'd fold, but it's close

That's what I figured, but he's pretty bad so I figured 66-JJ and AK as his range. Now do you call?

If that's the range you're putting him on, and you're confident of it, it's a call..

in retrospect of my first post, this probably isn't 88+ like i said, cause QQ/KK/AA doesn't bet this huge (often). So i think it's a call, but still kinda close.

Ok, that was the range I had him on, so I called, he had AK and flop was great comin 8 high, but the turn and river were AK respectively.
