This is kind of carried over from another thread, but I'm curious as to how many people actually fold here with 260 already in the pot. I normally agree with Yugo's responses, but I just can't see folding here.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) converter
MP1 (t1000)
MP2 (t1000)
MP3 (t1000)
CO (t1000)
Button (t1030)
SB (t985)
BB (t1000)
UTG (t1000)
Hero (t1000)
UTG+2 (t985)
Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif, 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
1 fold, Hero calls t15, UTG+2 raises to t75, 2 folds, MP3 calls t75, CO calls t75, 3 folds, Hero????
I fold here if I'm playing my best. Until just recently I called this every time, but in most cases I missed the 60 chips (which is quite important in my T800 33's).
EDIT: However, I think it's a lot more reasonable in a T1000 game
While I think an additional 60 chips is usually not optimal to call for set value, I love the call here for two reasons
1) based on the raisers position, there cannot be a re-raise
2) If you make the set, there are enough players that someone is likely to make a hand that will play with you. It is highly likely in fact that the raiser will be the better, and can trap a caller or two in between with a check-raise.
Just make sure you fold if you miss. With this pot it's easy to get caught here on a flop of 257.

I really think folding this is bad, bad, bad.
The set value thing often gets talked up too much, but this is a PERFECT opportunity. It'll be a four way pot (excellent for when you hit a set), the price is relatively low (not just <10%, but ~6% of your stack) and you're the last to act preflop, preventing someone from coming over the top and forcing you to fold.
I'd like to see Yugo's justification, because I can't see any good reason to fold this hand. I actually LOVE these situations. Because I'm a TAG, I want low chip risk/potentially high reward hands early in SNGs. PPs give me those opportunities.

i'm strongly against folding here
it's only 6% of your stack
u have a raise and several raise callers in the pot, so your odds of stacking 1+ people are much better than in an unraised pot...u have great implied odds here and gotta call
I see your point, but I don't think it's bad to fold in this spot. Maybe I'm just used to protect every single chip in a T800 game. Would you be calling in this spot in a $33?

i call this in a heartbeat. i'm closing the action, won't get in any trouble postflop (push or fold), the t60 won't hurt me much and i'm getting nice pot-odds. you can't ask for more imo.
with that many calls in front of me, I will call this.

Maybe Yugo was being sarcastic in his post and I missed it. I hope so.

pretty easy call for set with T1000 stacks. interesting question is when you have T800 stacks, or even if you have T700 and the others have between T700-T900.
what would you guys do here? I would call with my original T800 stack but fold if I had closer to 700.

I folded this once. Then I got a new mouse.

Is this for any pair? You call with 22 or is there a cut off? At first I thought fold, but I have been swayed and will make adjustments to my game accordingly.
