Let's say you play 3/6 limit hold em.

You have nice "unmentionables" at 25%.

If you played 10k hands in a month, what would be your expected cashback in terms of $$$/hand?

Give me a range if you have to:

.02-.03/hand?
.05-.05/hand?

Anybody have an idea?

From my last 10k hands of 3/6 full it worked out to 3.24c/hand

So, if I got offered $185 bonus dollars from Party for 3150 party points this appears to be the breakdown.

I play 3/6 and you get 12 points for 20 hands. So, I divide 3150 points / 12. That's 262.5 blocks of 20 hands.

That's equal to 5250 raked hands. So $185 / 5250 raked hands equals $.0352381 / raked hand.

So, that pretty much means, if Party were to continue with these offers. I would make just about the same as I did at Enmpire.

Why am I waiting on party and affis to get [censored] straight?

can you still redeem those points for merchandise or does it count against you? I have 3400 points on party and haven't played there for 3 months. I just ordered a friggin' tshirt for 1500 points to get rid of 'em! If they're going to reward you with cash though, then I'll try to preserve 'em

Suppose you play more and end up earning 9450 Party points during the time period of their bonus. As I understand it, you only get paid the bonus once. (Maybe next month you get an opportunity for a bigger bonus.) So now you've ended up making about $0.01 per raked hand.

Hmmm, I guess I should've thought of that.

I may just keep my [censored] going on my non-party sites and just hit up party for the bonus and nothing more.

It's not trading points for cash. It's an offer that if you accrue X points before this date you get this bonus.

If this is true then 2-3 months down the road you will be making your 25%, as eventually you will get a bonus that is equivilent to your average played hands, just not for the first few months.

They are obviously basing it on your past play as some players have rather large bonuses to work off and some have smaller bonuses.

If they do this every month, then everyone should be happy

I can't see this being a regular thing. the major problem with this is (non-rakeback) affiliates.
This bonus you earn will have to be removed from your MGR to such an extent that your MGR is almost worthless. This will not be acceptable to affiliates.
If the MGR is still a decent amount, you will still have affiliates offering rakeback (with or without the approval of party), and it will be worthwhile to have.

The crux of the matter is that if you offer affiliates a % of MGR as a payment option, then there will be people offering rakeback. Then the only choice party has is how hard they crack down on people offering it.

Here is the problem with that. The number that I gave you wasnt for each raked hand. It was per hand. I only have 64% of my hands being raked. That means that rather than 20 hand blocks your playing 32 hand blocks(20/.65=31.25).

That means that you need 32*262.5. Or 8188 hands.

Now your only making $.02259/ hand.

If I was making $.0324 at 25%, that makes the new deal closer to 17.5%.

Still better than nothing but it is a 30% drop off from what anyone with 25% was getting and a 42% drop from 30%.

But they also give you bonus points for Raked Days and Happy Hours. So as long as they are willing to give you a bonus commensurate with the number of hands you play, it is really not that terrible of a deal, especially if they do a little better with the reload bonuses
