Any of you know what this is and how it works?

blah blah Poker School is looking for candidates to sponsor into the world series of poker and players to sponsor online. blah blah...

I have seen these types of post on many sites what is the deal?

BTW, i have no idea if some of these are scams or not. its possible some of these are legit backing things but probaly most of them end up taking ur money somehow

internet forum is probably the best place to post this...

I think it is some sort of backing thing but is EV- if you are good. Why would you want to share your profits? If that is what you are talking about.

They dont back you. They sign you up under their affiliate code for "tracking purposes" then you play there for a while and they stiff you on the backing.
