Button has done nothing extraordinary thus far, playing relatively tight.

I think this is overly agressive. Not sure what the point is? 150 in chips... or bust right? With where they are at, I am folding a hand like KQ preflop from any position.

Fold preflop man!

This is way over agressive. I mean look at the size of the blinds. BB is t50. LOL! No stealing with this hand for sure. No stealing at all yet! Especially KQo.

Yuck.

It's a steal.

If it works, Hero's stack goes up by 25%.

If it doesn't work, he still has a decent shot at doubling up, probably no worse than 40-60.

Plus villain and others won't be f*ckin with his blinds much afterwards.

All in all, looks OK to me. I probably wouldn't do it this early, but I think it's reasonable.

I still dont like this move, this early.

just fold, pick a better spot

I can't press the fold button fast enough.

I might be more apt to try this is stealer was SB and I were BB, instead of stealer being button and me being SB. In the me-as-BB stealer-as-SB scenario, you've got no one left to act behind you that might have a real hand...plus there's a higher-likelihood chance that villain's raise is a pure steal. In this case, however, with BB left to act and villain's raise coming from the button, I fold this.

resteal at the 22's?! why on earth do you think they'll fold?! more often than not, they'll call. and it'll probably with a2o

besides, mess with your blinds?! you're the sb. even at the 55's, i dont pay attention/ignore what the sb does. now if u do this as the bb, i'd pay more attention and think about it next time you are bb.

besides, do you think anyone notices blind defense in the 22's even if you were the bb?

Yeah, EVERYONE at the 22s is way too loose. NOBODY pays ANY attention to ANYTHING going on.

Of course. Sorry. We forgot how AWFUL the players are at the 22s.

But it's still a reasonable move. If A2o (40% for you) calls, won't Kx, QJ, QT call also (75% for you)?

And if button IS tight, then your resteal works almost every time.

So there really isn't that much downside, either way.
