I stopped playing at Empire to play solely at Party a long time ago when Party changed the T+C. That was a decision discussed heavily at the time, and is not the purpose of this post.

Here is an email I sent to Party today,

[ QUOTE ]
>Hi there support,
>
>Although I intend to keep the majority of my play at Party Poker, I am
>curious as to whether I can now resume play on my Empire account as you are
>no longer part of the same network.
>
>They have told me it is okay, but I thought I would double-check with you.
>
>Thanks
>
>Lorinda

and their reply.

[ QUOTE ]
>Dear Lorinda,

>Thank you for contacting us.

>Firstly, I appreciate the fact that you intend to keep the major part of your play at Party Poker. I am also glad to inform you that now you can have two accounts that is at Party Poker and at Poker as well. Also, you can resume playing on your poker account.

Now, other than the fact they left blanks where Empire should be in the form part of the letter, notice anything else that seems a) unusual and b) hopeful for EVERYONE.

It may just be their dodgy English, but I thought I'd post it purely as it is to see what others thought.

There were extra spaces in the part where "Empire" clearly belongs on two occasions.

The more I read it, I think it's just their bad English. I won't delete it though in case others think otherwise.

Extra spaces? It's possible that they have a filter system setup to ensure that the support doesn't use swear words and stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if not letting them say empire is one of those filters. This of course, is just a theory and has no real base.

I think what Lori is on about is the wording of "I am also glad to inform you that now you can have two accounts that is at Party Poker" ... " and at Poker as well" . Pretty sure it's just bad English I'm afraid.

Whether or not that's true, you can put the "Empire" in yourself.

Anyway, it definitely sounds like they mean two accounts as in one at Party and one at Empire.

2 accounts

then clarified by saying "that is, at Party and [Empire] as well"

they clarified that u cannot have 2 at party...but one at party and another at [skin] as well

Thanks all.

Looks like I got over-exciteable in a hurry.

Of course Party allowing people to have two accounts was an idea that I hadn't written off, which is why when I saw that I got interested.

Oh well, thanks for clearing it up and sorry to have wasted everyone's time /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Perhaps they meant "I am also glad to inform you that now you can have two accounts that is at Party Poker and at Poker Now as well. Also, you can resume playing on your poker account."
