MTT NYC Newer club which is awsome action
I'm the early chip leader with 8200
Blinds are 100-200
I pick up 10 10 in MP i make it 600 to go
all fold to A historical donk who has been
playing tight thus far which is unlike him. He pushes for 1800 SB calls for 1800. Total pot is now 4500

It costs you 1200 to play whats your plan here? Pot odds are nearly 4-1 and you have postion.
My other question is should you play a player on his past history or more on how he plays on a given day?

Finnaly, is my PF raise good or is 10 10 too weak from MP early in a tourney? Thanks in advance

Hi
Your preflop raise was a bit to low for my taste. I think 800-1000 would be better. I would tend to fold since your 10s are probably not good against two opponants. If SBs stack is short I might call. But maybe I am a chicken.

4:1 is giving you close enough odds to call with TT simply for set value. And the implied odds are much better than that.

I'd call in a heartbeat.

How much does the SB have behind?

3500 so he can still hurt my stack. But it is a rebuy tourney if that changes anything.

I would call here 100% of the time, you have odds and position what else do you want?. Also your preflop raise is fine, you can go a little higher if you want but there is nothing wrong with your It still baffles me that people here are so afraid of 1010 and 99 they are VERY GOOD HANDS. Most of the time here donk who pushed will have Ak or something like that and caller will have Ak-AJ mid pp.

Opening raises are generally in the 2.5 to 5xbb range, Raising to 3xbb is pretty standard and what I generally open for with a big stack here. There's nothing wrong with opening utg with TT and opening with TT from MP is standard.

It's a rebuy in the rebuy stage? Call and look to push a favorable flop.

I guess this should make everything that much easier? You can rebuy how many times, this I never understand.
