is there a big differnece in the level of play from the 55s to the 109 sngs on party?

The biggest difference between the two is that you have to have a lot more "gamble" in the 109s, mainly post-flop.

It's a big difference if you've worked your way up following the super-tight conservative (but correct and successful) 2+2 endorsed strategies for the lower buy-in SNGs.
