I was studying this in my humanities class and I could have swore the movie I had to watch said 12/29. i'm obviously wrong though if you have this much info on it.

What's the current line on an End of the World scenario? I might get in on the action. On 2000 it was something like 80% of all infrastructure destroyed in order to collect. They may have moved their line based on the new date. I actually have a nice parlay bet still alive. I bet that the next Pope would be a Nazi and that the world would end before 2015. $170 000 on a ten dollar bet, not too shabby. Go Apocalypse.

Maybe it takes the equivalent of 8 old days for us all to die after the sun has been turned into a giant chocolate bar and the Earth stops spinning.
