This is why I don't like raising AQ from the blinds

On the flop I don't think I can get away from this, there's a chance he just has a J+pair or something

Good fold.

I don't like to build the pot OOP preflop with a hand like AQo. This should be a call preflop. If the table is tight, steal regularly with junk, not with strong-ish hands.
