I'm curious what the forum thinks I should do here. I'll withold my own comments on the situation until after some opinions have been shared.

My reads: We're 15 hands into the Stars $3.30 (No rebuys)
MP3 -- I have no idea. Haven't seen him do much.
CO -- This is the 4th hand since he sat down. 2nd hand he's played so far. That's all I got.

Barring a read, Im poooshing. Too often here youll find that your up against a J, a flush draw, a lower set, overpair, or two pair. Even if one of them has the straight, you have outs to a full house. The only hand that has you in awful shape is obviously 99.

Not to mention this is a 3 buck tourney. So many donks.

Its tough to put him on J10 here with his preflop raise. I'd call this and expect to see an overpair to the board, flush draw or AK.

I call and hope CO doesnt make his flush.

I woulda bumped it up a tad pre-flop, to many people in one of them prolly has 10J, hard to lay a set down though.

I don't think you want to raise 88 UTG this early in a $3 tournament. Limp for set value. Looks like villain has either an overpair or possibly AK of hearts. Push it.

Push, he doesnt have JT often enough, and when he does, you got outs.

This is a THREE dollar rebuy... am I not correct? This is a straight/flush draw very often given the overbet and the fact that this is a rebuy tourney.

i think this one is from a freezeout.

If it were the 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif I MIGHT think about laying it down, but in a $3, you can't fold here.

I beat them into the pot.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I've put the entire hand below. MP3's min-bet OOP into the PFR smelled very much like he flopped a big hand, and I thought he might have the straight. CO's all-in said "I have a big pair, suckers!" to me. So I wasn't really worried at all about CO, I was more concerned with whether I should be calling this bet if I put MP3 on a straight. I did the math and I was getting right at 2:1 (assuming I was behind and MP3 called with a made straight), which is almost exactly the chance against me filling up by the river.

I was mostly wondering whether I would hear a lot of "don't gamble this early in the tournament. You're not invested in this pot and you don't want to go broke this early" business.

Thanks again for your feedback!
