I am going to Vegas 2nd week of December for 4 days(Fri-Mon) primarily to play 30-60 and 40-80.

Is it better to stay at Bellagio or Wynn. My main consideration is the number and quality of games.

I would welcome any advice or suggestions.

Thank You.

Bellagio is a better location if you want to play at other hotels, since it is more central to the strip. The low limit games there are definitely beatable, especially later in the evening.

Wynn had a nice looking room and was busy enough for a Sunday night when I checked it out, but I didn't play.

I vote Bellagio and you have to get a Strawberry Julius

From what I have heard from players that have stayed at both locales, Wynn rooms are nicer. But your game selection is far better at Bellagio. That I know.

For the limits you want, Bellagio and it's not close. Bellagio will always have multiple 30-60 games going. Wynn sometimes has nothing bigger than 15-30. Play/stay at Bellagio, walk to Mirage (20-40 and 40-80) and Wynn to check them out as well.

On my last trip a player recommended the Strawberry Julius. 8 of them later I wished that he had kept quiet. They are that good. P.S.: Extra whipped cream!

At Wynn theres one 40/80 game, sometimes. There are no 30/60 games there. Bellagio has multiple 30/60, but no 40/80 holdem games.

Make Bellagio your primary room, but definately go check out the Wynn from time to time. When I was in vegas the other weekend I was involved in some extremely juicy semi-short 30 games there.

What is a strawberry julius?

Heard everyone talking about this last time I was there but have no idea what it is.

It is like a smoothie, but that is like saying a sports car is like a hay wagon because they both have four wheels.

Very filling and enjoyable. They also boost your energy. It's a Brick and Mortar poker players drink.
