I'm a huge fan of this show, and from recent threads, it seems like there are some other big fans on the forum. So which season was the best? Interested to hear feedback and then I'll give my answer and reasons.

Just rented season 3 and was really disappointed.

The episode where they explain how Jack, Tony and the other guy set the whole thing up was just pathetic and ruined everything.

It's alright, I think the real question is do you prefer season 1, 2 or 4?

i'm interested in seeing where they go with season 5, but ultimately i know it's going to be lame.

Haven't seen 4 yet. 1 was better than 2 IMO, but that might be because the concept was new to me when I saw it. I enjoyed 2 though. 3 just left me disappointed and frustrated.

they got progressively worse. so much so, that i couldn't even watch the end of season 4. season 4 was retarded. i can't even remember what happened but in one day first they hacked the internet, then kidnapped the secretary of state (i think), then stole a nuke, set off on EMP, i can't even remember what else. oh ya, first they stole that thing for the nuclear reactors and started a meltdown. there was too many plots and plot twists.

that is the reason season 1 was the best because it was all about assasinating palmer, and i guess kidnapping kim/teri

You need to put more space in between "spoiler" and the actual information as a courtesy to fast readers. 5 or 6 empty lines usually does the trick. If you put it right after, a lot of people will have already read the info by the time "spoiler" has been processed, and be severly pissed because they're currently watching that season, like me.

Season 2 by a mile, but I missed most of 1. Season 4 was almost like a parody of the show.
