i looked around in the archicves but i didn't find anything.

what is you're steal % and what's your range OTB when it's folded to you? mine is something like T9o+, JTo+, QTo+. K9o+, K8s, Q9s, J9s, any ace, and 2 broadway, and i think that's it. somehow i've drifted into 40%+ land over the past few months...

Mine is similar to yours except I often raise hands like Q9o, Q8s, K5s, J8s etc. I would rather have Q8s or J8s on the button than A2o.

inspired by my coach(es), so you know it's not totally my fishy advice. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

22+, A2o+, K5o+, Q8o+, J8o+, 98o+, A2s+, K5s+, Q6s+, 76s+, 86s+, J7s+.

I will sometimes add in stuff like Q5s or T8o or 65s if I haven't been catching cards, or if my image is really good

what is very interesting is that the standards I listed add up to 42.1%. if you go to pokerstove and move the slider bar to 42.1% manually, you actually get

44+,A2s+,K2s+,Q4s+,J6s+,T7s+,97s+,87s,A3o+,K6o+,Q8 o+,J8o+,T8o+

which is slightly different, adds a couple more suited hands, adds the middling offsuit connectors, takes away some of the crappier offsuit hands with deuces and treys. hey didnt a book somewhere caution one against playing those? what I find interesting is the removal of 86s and 76s, since I've seen 65s and 75s advocated. I mean hot and cold equity isn't everything, but I like comparing these kinds of things.

I see a minor inconsistency here. Q9o has .38 equity vs. two random hands and T9o has .36 equity. I think it's safe to say that Q9o>T9o.
