Odd hand. The turn donk bet makes absolutely no sense for any hand except an Ace with a mid kicker that leads the flop to protect his hand, then donks it when he hits the A and checks the river because of the board kicker.

Unless one of these players is just dumb loose when going to showdown, I'd check through. But if CO will marry a hand like 99 and see it through (after playing it weirdly), then bet. But if they have half a clue I think checking is fine.

well, if we could play with cards face up you probably would've made two more bets. one of those situations where the "correct" play in the long run isn't the perfect play this time.

i'm not sure what CO was thinking on the turn, other than maybe he could fold out a better PP by bluffing the ace, since his play was pretty consistent with a big ace. MP is just loose passive i guess. but i think a most of the time if you bet this river and get called you're beat.

interesting river (though completely standard until then.)

i think i migth check it through in the heat of the moment just because i'd be so confused, but i think it's wrong.

hand reads: MP called two on the flop and didn't cap preflop. so I'm thinking he either has a Q or he squarely has AK. But he didn't come alive on the turn when he hit his A if he had AK so I think a Q is more likely.

CO showed strength on the flop (indicating he had a Q or some other strong hand) then bet out again when the A hit, indicating it improved his hand. But 100% of the hands that the A improve will bet the river IMO, and the only hands that make sense for him are AQ which is inconsistent on the river.

So I really can't put anyone on a hand that beats me with any confidence. that why i think it's a bet.

lol, i can't put someone on a hand I beat with any confidence, and my hand is really weak, so I check.

The turn donk smells like a Q putting you on a flush draw. I raise the turn and fold to a 3 bet. I'd also check the river
