With a 6% house edge, who would play it?

Hmmm... maybe the same people who play poker with a much worse disadvantage all the time.

Turn off the four color deck option, makes it easier.

A. 2+2ers? Say it ain't so.
B. They would admit it?

Haha, yes, clearly what we need here is large amounts of stats on this.

We need people to play tens of thousands of hands while making sidebets so that we can determine if it's rigged or not.

And remember, you gotta be in it to win it.

i don't really understand the sidebet game. Essentially aren't you just betting on the color of the flop, red or black? How does the house have a 6% advantage? if that's the case why would you want to play it?

10-09-2005, 08:39 PM
i just want to know if anyone has won one yet. i don't care about theories, %, and your dog's name.

Before you get your cards, you are betting the flop will be all the color you pick (red or black).
They pay you 8 for 1.
Flop is all red 11.75% of the time.

For every one hundred $1 wagers, you will win 11.75 times and collect back
11.75*$8 = $94

Hence, a house vig of 6%.

Keep doubling your bet everytime you lose until you win. It's a sure thing! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I played black jack last night and split aces twice (only got em twice), got two black jacks both times. I then went on to lose my money holding 20 against 4 and 5 cards 21's by the dealer. OmfGzRIGGED!!!1!!one!

No its not, you have to bet before you get your hole cards, or else the bet will go on the next hand..

Im 1 for 2 lost my 1st $2.5 won my 2nd $2.5. Then I deleted the sidebet bar because I realized I had a problem /images/graemlins/smile.gif

What I really wanna know is this: what is the over-under on how long it takes for a post that claims results on a person's winrate is related to the sidebet they make?

Yet another way that Party is rigged!

Thanks for pointing that out. I was never going to play it, but I was thinking it was an even-money shot...until I did the math.

You must have at least 10,000 bets under your belt before coming to any conclusions. 100,000 bets to be safe and get a real figure of how you're doing on the side betting.
