Cashing in Party POker Points for cash???

I thought only the players in whatever the two top color groups could do this. However I beleive I read somewhere on this forum that some of the smaller players were able to do so this past month.

I have 2000 points after screwing around in some of the party for free qualifiers. Can I get any cash for that?

PS. I wouldn't have read this if all this rakeback stuff hadn't been posted, so in a round about way this could lead to me getting my first "rakeback".

It's not really like that. Basically, Party just created a large 15X bonus which also allows them to liquidate the excess points. You don't just get to cash out your points for free.
