so i was at around 110 and played .25/.50 nl six max on jetset, had a rough downswing and as of now i'm at 5. without depositing any money, how can i and in what amount of time build it up to around 200. lately i've played their .01/.02 games which are sooo painful...typical loose passive players but winning any substantial amount proves difficult...how many hours of play should i book to get to 200, i understand there's no set number but a ballpark and is there any adjustment to basic TAG strategy that i should implement or just play my game regardless of the tiny bankroll?

BEst way to get to 200 is to make a deposit.

First off, you didn't have a downswing. You lost 2 full buy-ins at $.25/.50. Why play so far above what you can afford? You know that your bankroll for playing $.25/.50 6max should be somewhere around $1000+.

Secondly, building up $5 to $200 should take you roughly 50,000 hands at $.01/.02, if you can average 10BB/100. Of course, you no longer have the bankroll for $.01/.02. You'd need around $40 to be safe, but $20 would be okay if you were a winning player. Unfortunately with $5, another dropped buy-in or two and you are out of luck.

Do a search and read up on bankroll management. Then, make a new deposit of around $80 and rebuild playing $.02/.04. If you log 15,000 hands at a rate of 10 BB/100 at $/02/.04, your bankroll will be large enough to move up to $.05/.10. If you log 15,000 hands at a rate of 10 BB/100 at $.05/.10, your bankroll will be large enough to move up to $.10/.25. In another 15,000 hands or so, you'll be right back at $.25/.50 6-max assuming you keep the same win rate.
