If Bush were personally involved, they would not roll over on him. They'd get pardons anyway, and rolling on the President would end their careers quickly.

However, I doubt Bush was involved. I think fallout between Rove and Bush on this (I think Rove lied to Bush) may partially explain why Bush (likely) went against his political advisors with Miers.

The White House is FUBAR.

Exactly. Rove and Libby will "get out of jail free", and escape punishment for their treason via Presidential Party.

Bush is not one to let his cronies down.
