No announcement has been made. What does Panic do? Nothing.

Fcking chill out and wait till some official word is given. Freaking out over a bunch of posts on a forum is no way to make any sort of decisions on what is happening now.

What we need to do at times like these is band together and post as many threads on the topic as possible.

What does telling people who probably just lost 100s or 1,000s of dollars of month of income to calm down? Nothing.

Thanks for the soothing words, Uncle Affiliate. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Tall's post did not say antyhing bad or good was going to happen. You are making assumptions that RB is going to end. He is saying it is to early to make that assumption. There is no need to panic. One good reason not to panic is that it won't do anything one way or the other.

How do we know when there is an official word? I am assuming it is for real because Multipoker now has 50/100 and 100/200 tables and has nobody on them. That's not the only reason but the shortest one. But panic does nothing. We as poker players can't do a thing about it but move on to Party/Stars/other sites.

edit, or play until the skins dry up and die.

This is not true. Today is one of my most enjoyable reading days ever..............more funny posts than ever, more foolish comments than ever............it's been great.

So much chaos - so much fun! If I never make another dime in rakeback, I won't care. The games will still be there, and probably better than ever from a fish-to-fish that thinks perspective. I love it. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

We will probably be seeing some very crappy TAG games on our rakeback-enabled sites.

We will probably have several pollyannas saying "this isn't that big a deal, the games are still good, keep playing"

These pollyannas will probably be affiliates trying to prevent the bleeding, siince they stand to lose mountains of monthly cash flow when their high-volume players stop playing on their Party skins.

As a long-time lurker on this forum, I'd like to say this: I like Joe Tall (having met him in person 2 years ago), and I highly value his contributions to the various 2+2 forums. I will say this though- I will be reading between the lines of any spin that affiliates put on this development carefully and it will affect who gets my future RB business.

I'm pretty sure that relaxing is against the rules, here.

Seems like it might be a good time for the LL players to start studying up to bump up their winrates the old-fashioned way. And no, I don't mean by learning how to 10-table.

Here is your official word

PartyGaming Plc
New platform launch

PartyGaming Plc (“PartyGaming” or the “Group”), the world's leading online gaming company, announces today that it has taken a further step towards establishing a new fully integrated PartyGaming operating platform. This platform will, on launch, offer a variety of different games but with a common systems architecture allowing each of its nine million registered PartyPoker customers to use a single account and a shared purse across the Group’s gaming brands.

As part of today’s development, the Group has moved the PartyPoker.com brand and all of its players to the new platform.

Historically, PartyPoker players have shared the same poker-only system with players from each of the Group’s four white label poker clients or “skins” (being Empire Poker, Coral Eurobet, Multipoker and Intertops). Following today’s move, PartyPoker players will now play on their own private tables and benefit from a number of new and exciting products that are exclusive to the new platform. The new platform includes non-poker games such as Blackjack, as well as added features to the poker product such as Side Bets and Deal-Making in poker tournaments. Once the fully integrated platform is launched in the first half of 2006, players will then be able to click through and play on PartyPoker, PartyCasino and other new PartyGaming products that are currently being developed, all using a common account and a shared purse.

The skins’ poker players will continue to have full access to the existing poker system. They will also now benefit from the release of several new product enhancements comprising “beginners’ tables” – these include “micro-limit tables” and low buy-in tables – and $50/$100 and $100/$200 tables. PokerNOW.com, which was acquired by the Group earlier in the year, will continue to operate on the existing poker system with the skins.

Commenting on today’s announcement Richard Segal, Chief Executive said:

“We are on track to deliver our exclusive Party-branded integrated platform that will include additional products and services, enabling us to focus on optimising cross-selling opportunities. We believe that today’s development is an important step towards cementing together the inherent strengths of all the Party brands and is in the best interests of our customers and shareholders. In conjunction with this exciting development, we will continue to maintain and support the poker system we provide for the skins.”

Yeah.. tbh i never really liked poker anyway, ive always been a BlackJack man myself.

What???!?

They do blackjack too!!!!!!

Now i can play 10 tables of 1/2..betting the colour of the flop on each one..and 5 tabling blackjack...whilst taking side-bets on how long it will be until someone says 'nh'.

this is awsome i'm gonna become a professional all color flop player. all we have to do is get six people together on one table and all on the phone. we share our cards and their colors and when enough of one color is removed we load up on the exotic side bet. how much can we wager? he said tongue in cheek. i do have my finger on the panic button and when joe says it is time i'm pushing. let me know joe.
