Should I have just raised about 200 to try and get one or two callers or is all-in the move here? Thanks.

Thanks for any input.

good push. with your stack, you're done raising. you'll take a race here against PP<TT...you might even get a call from a lessor Ace against your broke butt /images/graemlins/wink.gif

meh...you played it fine. 150 into 225 should get rid of the "big card"-nonAce cards, maybe even a mid-PP. folding to a raise on the flop is wise - as is your check/fold on the turn. no reason to not believe there is an Ace holder at this point.

Is this a standard fold or do pot odds suggest I call? Thanks.
this PF fold is fine IMO. you're in that "pushing" range - but you need to wait for opening-aggression if possible. considering the original raiser is AI with god knows what, pushing AI for a crack at a bunch of dead chips is an option. but with 3(?) already calling, you're taking quite a bit of risk - with 1 caller, maybe.

eh, maybe, maybe not. OOP, you'd want your raise to certainly be a substantial one, but with a caller you're now facing a flop pot > than your stack...no fun w/ an ace on board. adding t105 to your stack here, on the off chance one might call isn't too bad. raising less to thin the heard is an option, looking to move on a non-over flop.

Thanks Bluefeet, you rule, very helpful.

1 -- yup, push. Lousy hand for it but it will do.

2 -- I like checking here. If you had no hand at all maybe you could bet, but you're only going to drive out hands you're beating, and there's usually an ace in a 3-way raised pot. And most people aren't bluffing into an ace, so you can often show the hand down. If you had checked, next player bets, third player calls/raises -- you know your hand is no good anyway. Is better to use someone else's chips to gain information. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

3 -- Push!!! the guy could have moved in with anything, everyone knows that and most likely they have no hand. If they did they would have raised to isolate.

4 -- If I had any more chips I would raise to 200 and see what happened. Any less, I'd push. You're in that zone where it doesn't matter much IMO.

thanks Jamougha, I like your line on 2.

For 3, I would have pushed maybe a level or two later, but I felt I would be called by at least 1 person and didn't want to coin flip that early- what is wrong with my thinking there? Is there some math I should be doing?
