Unless I'm imagining things, it seems that at 5/10, when a player in BB gets raised by utg or mp player, and it's folded around to them, the BB calls at least 70% of the time.

I have no hesitation in folding there without a decent hand, i.e., a hand better than that with which I'd call when the raise comes from the co or button. But watching how everyone else plays, I'm starting to wonder whether I'm missing something.

Is there a "proper" amount one should be calling such raises? Is this number available in pt?

Depends on your read of the UTG raiser. I give a lot of respect to an UTG raise regardless if its folded to me in BB. If the guy is a total nutjob, I will lower my standards a bit, but not much. You will always be out of position against the PFR.

no youre probably defending your BB just fine. people are total idiots when in the BB. a large amount of my winnings come from people who play terribly in the blinds. most people defend 56o to a EMP raise.
