My questions are: Why are the unfounded accusations about Online Poker being rigged tolerated by all the poker forum owners? And: Why the poker rooms don't sue?

Does anyone know?

They are doing very good business despite these accusations. It would also be very bad PR to go around suing many of the small stakes losers that are claiming it's rigged.

Are they going to sue in the US? That wouldn't make much sense to their interests either.

Who on the forum staff is going to decide which accusations are unfounded? Should only glowing reviews of propoker.com have been permitted here? Should all poker forums be required to do a full documented legal investigation before permitting posts regarding sites that are not paying out?

It is a public forum, and it is an accepted principle that posts are the opinion of the poster, and nothing more. A post that Poker Site ABC is rigged has no more meaning than posting that Bush is an idiot or some brainless bimbo is hot. It's all obviously just opinions.

Sue who? And for what? The people who post that stuff are nameless morons who lose all their money, and can't accept personal responsibility.

To the contrary, the poker rooms should welcome such posts. Every time someone posts that online is rigged, about 47 obviously more intelligent people flame him with evidence that he is an idiot. That's better than the poker rooms could do for themselves.
