OT: OMFG I was ITM on 4 tables and Party Shut Down

Umm, I just lost a lot of money from that server shutdown. Even though I'll still get a cut. Worse than a bad beat by far!!!

if u get a cut, u get all the buyins divided by number of players left...if some people on your tables were already out, u'll make some money

Yes but I was ITM in 7/8... 3 of those were over. 4 were still going. ITM. so I get F'ED hard. Do you see why?

So the fact that I was still in on all 8 tables means I am getting something back (i.e. I don't have to stick around and wait for the servers to come back up)?

Man this is going to be a pain to put in my books, I guess I'll just write it in as "bonus". This friggin sucks, I was planning on getting in 24 STT's during nap time today. damn it this sucks!

OK, from looking at the My Account Activity link from the websites, i find this:

I was in 12 SNGs @ $22 each. i think i had under 800 chips in each of them. My refunds are as follows:

27, 22, 24.22, 22,
27, 27, 27, 27,
22, 24.22, 24.22, 24.22

SO, overall, im pretty happy the servers crashed since i didnt have more than 800 chips in any SNG.

Meh I still ended up a little cash on the set. I had one HU with even stacks against a good player....coulda gone either way and one that was 8 handed at 75/150 /images/graemlins/confused.gif where I was 2nd stack but only about 1500 chips. The last was a 5 handed pretty even stack situation, I think I might have been 2nd there to. Oh well ish happens...now I can work on my multi game all afternoon on stars

How do they repay? Is it a chip count chop? Becuase if it is, then you could theoretically get more than top prize if it was 8k to 1k to 1k, right?

Looks like a grand total of +41.64 for the 10 minutes of getting onto all 8 tables and not busting out before the shut down. I guess everyone who played any hands between the announcement and the shut down was making a big mistake.

Oh, and it was my daughters' nap time, not mine /images/graemlins/smile.gif
