Villain in this hand seems pretty solid and I haven't seen him get out of line. I have been taking random shots lately at 5/10 nl on party so not much history in the game. 6 handed, I've been prety aggro preflop and have been firing 2nd barrels a lot, on the hand before I raised kqs and bb called, flop came 6 high giving me flush draw i fired twice pot and 2/3 pot and gave up on river bb shows 77, not getting too much respect.

Onto the hand...

Hero (1200) raises to 35 utg with Adqh, villain calls on button. Ah 8h 5c, i lead out 50 as I had been doing a lot, villain calls. Turn is 2c, i check, anyone like a bet? Villain bets 85 i call. River 9s, i check, anyone bet here? villain bets 250, what do I do and how did I do?

Anyone, it's playing hands like these out of position that really make me think I might not be ready for bigger games yet?

call riv. take advantage of your lack of respect image, bet flop, bet turn, bet riv.

How would you have played this at 2/4, 3/6, whatever you are used to playing?

If I bet turn I fold if raised and check what on river if called?

I like bet, bet, check to induce bluff fromn missed flush draw on river, call.

I used to like this, but recently i've been thinking about it, so rarely do people bluff their flush draws, it has to be the right opponent, but more often people have A rag and will pay a little more to see if you really have that ace...

If anyone is interested he had the nut straight on turn. I wasn't sure what to make of his turn bet amount and I think vs a solid player like this I might have been able to fold the river.

He had 34cc, I slowed down because I felt he might get tricky with me due to my image, turns out I was right as he was most likely planning on outplaying me. Nice turn for him though.

Bet the turn again for at least 125 if pot is 170. Check/call river. AQ is tough OOP. I limp with it in full games in EP now, but 6 max, gotta raise it up, AJ too and play some awkward hands.
