i was hoping for more votes than this. ok, so a person on this forum who plays a game which i respect made this call here whereas i thought this was a clear fold.

anyone wish to enlighten me?

If he's pushing any two you absolutely have to call. If you don't know that though, you can't. Call and Fold are the two options, for sure.

That fact that he hasn't pushed yet has got to make you think hes not pushing anytwo here. A2 isn't a dominate hand, I think your in a spot were you need to make a move, but the fact that vil. has not pushed yet makes me nervous about a call here.

if you are calling 355 into 605 pot, I would call. I could see him having KQ,QJ,KJ,KT here, if he has an A I guess you are going to ahve to suckout. Overall I think this is a borderline situation, but I am only a 14% ROI $33 player so I may not be good enough to give advice.

This is a call with no reads. Villain has to fold J9s, K7, Q9s before this becomes a fold, and almost noone will fold those hands.

so i guess my instincts were wrong... i got unlazy, did the math and found out that the pusher had to be on a top ~20% range for this call to be -ev. this seems counterintuitive to the fact that A2o is only 55% to win against a random hand.

anyway, thanks for the responses... found a leak.

As a side note, the equilibrium here is at around 70% pushing, 50% calling. I probably don't call enough in this situation, but I think a lot of people fold really a ridiculous amount.
