so I think I got bitten by a spider a few nights ago. I have 2 weird shaped itchy red welts on my arm. They're def. not mosquito bites.
My question is: when do I start developing super powers?

I actually had bed bug bites once (that's what I get for staying in a hostel in a foreign country) but this don't look like them.

Well, of course I hope this is all in jest, but I believe recluse bites are usually slow to take effect. Example. (http://www.remotemedics.co.uk/p011.htm)

perhaps the most disgusting pictures I've ever seen. Luckily my bites are going down. They just itch.

Eh... take a picture and post it? I hate bug bites. So many things out there like lyme disease that seem like nothing at first then you find out you are [censored].

It's been over a month and my foot still burns at least once a day. That's what I think about when I think weird bug bites -- Lyme disease. It can be hard to diagnose and have terrible consequences.
