All this talk about the slot machine winner and Katrina survivor got me thinking. Suppose you are one of these evacuees and you have nothing but a the clothes on your back. You are staying with a relative and they are supplying you with a temporary home and some food. You don't have a job to go back to, and you don't know what will happen with your insurance.

What would you do with your last 20 bucks?

I still haven't thought about the best way to spend mine, but I can tell you that the craps table might not be a bad way to go, and that may be my choice.

with time and pacence you could run 20 up to a working 3-6 br to live off. it woudl prolly be even easier to put it on black run it up to 100 and play .50-1 but start on starts .10-.20, or pokeroom or something at the local liberary and you could make it.

I'd probably use it for a phone card to call either friends with money or you (to see if you'd perfected that ice-nine formula). or, I could get a bottle of makers mark and sit and wait for the gubment to bail me out.
