1. I don't hate it, but my first reaction would be to fold the turn when the 2nd over hit. Weak?

2. What does a 3.6 pfr 3-bet that you can beat here? His overall aggression isn't that high, so the river bet should convince you that you're beat if you didn't know it already.

hand 1 is hard, even with the solid read you have. alot of TAGs will checkraise a flushdraw here, or 77-99, or the other TT. unfortunately the only one of those that bets the river is the busted flush draw i think. it may sound crazy but i think i might fold the river?

i think #2 is an easy fold on the flop.

What if villain was a 35/16/2 in hand #2, would you call down?

On hand 1, I really don't like folding 2nd pair on a raggedy flop agianst this very aggressive opponent. He is in the CO so he could have a wide range of hands. We are ahead of 99-77, a flush draw (Axs, KQs, KTs etc), he might also check-raise with A6 or A4. My plan on the flop is 3-betting, betting the turn, checking through the river. This way we charge the draw but save a SB if behind.

Too LAG?

Hand 2 I think the only thing we are ahead of here is possible AQs, and I'm not paying to find out.

Hand one, I think it's a pretty easy fold on the turn. His hand range has the vast majority ahead of you and you are getting under 5:1 to call down.

Hand two, I wonder what you think of my line...I raise the flop, fold to a 3-bet, and if he just calls and checks the turn, I check and call most rivers. You lose less here and still get to the river.

Interesting that most of you have got different ideas of how to play these two hands.

Hand 1, I like this idea, and if he caps flop we can safely fold the turn:

I think calling flop and folding turn is too weak.

Hand 2:

I think I should have folded the flop like most of you recommended.
Again, what would you do if he was 35/16/2?

Easy flop raise. It's a LAG in a blind-stealing war, which can often turn them into a super-LAG. You have 2nd pair against a very wide range of 3-betting hands (Aces, pairs, even crap like Q9 or 89s sometimes). Raise the flop, and keep betting. If you face a 3-bet on the flop it's a tough spot and you have to go with your read (will he 3-bet bluff? will he 3-bet middle pair? Or only top pair?), but the read is made easier due to the drawless nature of the board.
