At some point, I think every poster just stops responding to dumb threads. Dumb being a subject discuused a zillion times before, or clearly trolling.

Like the one just started about Party tournaments vs. Stars. or any Mr. McVickers bonus thread.

I stopped responding to these posts long ago. I used to say things like "internet poker is not rigger, sites have a greater interest in keeping the games clean", then I progressed to saying things like "you're dumb" or "read the FAQ's". Now, I just ignore them completely.

I think most people who have been here a while also ignore them.

so when did you stop? or do you still reply to these posts?

PS: please don't count this thread as a dumb thread /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

No, this is far dumber than those dumb threads.

I honestly have no idea why i continue to respond to these.

I have ignored them in stretches.
but I'm currently in a long-ish stretch of diving right back into them.

When I first started lurking and posting here I had a really good filter to this, got a laugh out of crap then ignore it.

Then lately I find myself actually responding to these. For every one I respond to there's probably about ten posts that I write out a response then just don't post it because I realize what I'm doing. Blah.

EDIT: I just did this for another two posts. Why I feel so compelled to point out flawed logic I have no idea.
