Either the alligator clawed its way out thru the snake's belly as it was being swallowed or the snake simply exploded due to the size of the meal it was trying to digest.

This is crazy. My econ professor showed us this at the beginning of class for no reason other than the fact that he thought it was awesome. Apparently these pythons have taken over at the top of the food chain in the Everglades. That particular picture is a snake who burst after eating an alligator.

That is a big ass python damn! I think the croc was already strangled by the python, it just burst.

That is bizarre. I can't quite figure it out, though. Looks like there's two tails there, the one at the far side of the camera being the snake's tail, and what looks like the croc's tail appearing to project straight ahead out of its own mouth.

The snake's head is underwater pointing up and slightly to the right. The alligator's tail is protruding from where the body of the snake ruptured.

I think the snake's head is under water about "1 o'clock" in the picture. The gator basically snapped the snake in half.
