Preflop raisor here is 30/9 and somewhat aggressive post flop. The preflop cold caller is loose preflop but will fold post flop frequently.

I don't always just call here preflop but I did this time. After not raising the flop i put the preflop raisor on a worse ace. pretty simple river check to induce a bluff, no? I don't think many worse hands are calling here, right?

I would check call for the reasons you mention.

I would usually check/call here. The key is that he's somewhat aggressive post flop. One factor favouring check/call is that if I bet, it's to bet/fold, and an agressive player MIGHT bluff raise a worse ace, so I don't want to risk being bluffed off this pot.

Potential value bet vs calling stations.
