I'm diabetic as was my father. He died three years ago due to complications of diabetes.
This year's Walk for Diabetes in Austin happens to fall on the 3 year anniversary of my father's death and I was thinking about doing the walk to help raise funds for the ADA as a way to honor/remember my dad.
So here is where OOT comes into all of this. If I decided to do the walk and posted a link to the ADA donation site, do you think I'd get any sponsors from the OOT crowd or is this a stupid idea?
