Doobie had been playing fairly laggy and he would often overbet push. Even without someone opening the pot

Yes, call. 99 is great in this spot, especially if he's LAG. You've got a great shot at first if you win, still in competition for 2nd if you lose.

you know you're the best person at this table! play em down! you are obviously a coinflip, so why take the odds? If you lose the flip, you're have 3BB left! If you win, that's sweet cuz you're almost guarenteed 1st, but you've got a damn good shot at it with 5k chips... i guess it might depend on the prize structure, like if 1st was heavy, i'd like to make this call. But this is such a coinflip, and I'd prefer to chip away at them without committing 90% of my stack on what is almost definitely a 50/50


Am I wrong? I might be..... please tell me if i am

Hero makes the call. He wins the tournament if his hand holds, and he still has somewhat of a shot for 2nd if it doesnt. This depends on his range of hands, but I cant expect it to be tighter than 22+ A7o+, KTo+
