Making my way back to 6 max after a two month long revamp of my game. During this revamp, I focused on being more selective about my agression.
Evaluate
BB is aggressive when checked to or with TP or better.

i would just call the flop against an aggressive BB here. let him lead into you again and you can get MP trapped on the turn/river. that said raising is definitely not a sin.
what do you think about this hand?

I raised the flop for a possible free card/ close flush equity. The turn check from the BB slightly confused me, and I saw no reason to bet the turn, especially if the BB wsa looking for a check raise. The river seemed like an easy value bet when checked to.

Preflop - standard raise
Flop - Raise is ok even if villain is aggressive, the free card is valuable at the turn if you can get it. Given villain's 3 bet (and MP coming along), I'd cap for value and potentially to convince villain for that free card.
Turn and River fine and standard.

Why don`t you cap the flop?
Otherwise it`s ok.

Cap the flop. Good otherwise.
why arent you capping here? just out of interest whats your thought process?
i think you have to cap for value with MP still in the hand, regardless of what BB has

i don't cap the flop because we only have 1 overcard to our flush draw and i'd rather have villain bet into me again if i hit my flush.

I think capping last to act here is awesome. Not only is it a +EV raise (You usually have about 12 outs), you will get a free card often.
It also gives you a good image to take advantage of. They won't eff with you as often, and you may get some poor calldowns because they think you are full of it.

Disagree - on the flop your equity is probably around the chances of hitting your flush by the river or about 35%. With three ppl, capping is definitely +EV and could buy you a free card if you miss.
You're only going to hit your flush just under 20% of the time by the turn. So the benefit of being bet into so you can raise only comes 20% of the time.
The other 80% of the time, you'll miss and you're only 20% favorite to hit the flush by the river. The pot odds justify it but you'd probably check behind if you could.
