Do you spit while peeing?

When I stand and pee into a toilet or urinal, I will more often than not spit into the bowl. I don't know why I do this, is just happens naturally. I have seen other men do the same thing. My wife thinks this is totally gross and swears that no other guy on the planet does this. Now, I've told her that I spend much more time in the men's room than she does (or so I hope). So what do you do?

the only time I do this is when I'm out drinking, and I do it about 80% of the time I ma having more than three or four drinks in an evening

Of course I spit while peeing. They never see it coming. Just turn left at the urinal and let one fly into their forehead. It's hilarious.

No I don't, but if I had something I needed to spit out I suppose that is as good a time as any. It certainly isn't gross, and infact it's weird that your wife thinks it is.

Do you ever spit when you're outdoors? If not then surely you're aware that other people do. Well swallowing saliva gets old when you're inside too, but spitting is generally frowned upon. Trips to the urinal are the only opportunities to spit during extended periods of being indoors.

This is the only objective I can see in spitting while peeing, and I cannot imagine that anyone could resist the challenge. I would guess that I am successful about 40% of the time.

i really don't understand this behavior, or why it would be more likely while drinking. from my perspective, it really sounds like, "i'm an ape and i cannot control my own body or understand why i take certain actions."

I get tired of swallowing all my saliva. When I have the chance and the urge, I spit some out. During drinking I would imagine the mouth produces saliva at a higher rate because it's getting swallowed with beer every few minutes, so having that urge when I get the chance is more likely.

It's a conscious choice to spit and not an uncontrolled bodily function - that would be a better description of having to go urinate in the first place. The spitting is like, well while I'm here, might as well.

Technically, you'd never get 1/2 on each side. There would always be a little more luigi on one side or the other. And the piss stream isn't perfect either. It fluctuates a big so it's just hard to say.

I do this (spit) probably 1 in 4 trips to the urinal. It seems slightly less when I visit the water closet. Probably 1 in 5.5 trips. Something about the urinal just makes me want to spit.
