I agree. Just take the "free" showdown. Otherwise, you risk losing 2 BB more than necessary if you're behind.

Bet. The odds go down that they have it by quite a bit when it is checked to you. Most people recognize that a 4-straight is a scary board and bet out if they actually have it.
