Just play it off and cough a lot. Don't make any sudden movements right after a growl either cause that's just obvious.

one day in my 30 person calc class my stomach wouldnt stop, the first time people were like what the hell was that? it was funny.

Mine used to do that during exams. I think it was a combiunation of stress and the fact that I used to chew gum a lot. Chewing gum on an empty stomach always does this to me.

This depends on the class room size. In most classes, if you get up without making a scene, the instructor won't care. Just quietly walk to the back of the classroom and stand there for a few minutes. Crop dust them on the way back so you don't have to smell your own stench twice.
