Nobody will admit to not doing it, but be sure YOU play this river the same way /images/graemlins/wink.gif

He had to fold. He couldn't beat the board.

I play the river the same way, sometimes I bet his entire stack minus 200 or something. But whatever... BET TURN!!!

If anything, I think Lorinda made a huge donk play. I mean think about it. She bet 3200 to win 600? I mean come on. She'll only get called by a better King. Clearly -EV.

I thought I was in a win/win situation by checking the turn. Either he hit something and paid me, or he missed and tried to bluff me.

Given that he folded the nuts, it seems that my read was rather poor.

I really hope SB was multitabling and already had pressed auto-fold /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It's terrible, but not uncommon.

About once every 50 games, I see someone call a big river bet with something like 44 on a KKJ6J board. You'll see it in limit ring games more often.

The bad folds are more amusing then the bad calls.

Reminds me of a time a Royal Flush was on the board with 5 people still in the hand. I pushed, 3 called and 1 folded. We all had a giggle and asked him why he folded? He said he felt his flush was beaten. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
