Villian is 13/5/1.5. I wanted to check/raise to protect my vulnerable hand. On the turn I have infinite outs if I'm behind plus he could be on KK, so I bet again. Free showdown is goot?

Bet the river, instead of your planned (I assume) check call. 1.5 pf aggression is probably not checking behind with AK, but he will call w/ KK. In other words, if you're going to put in 1 BB anyways, you may as well do it those times you are ahead as well.

If you checked intending to fold if he bet, it's a different story, but I doubt that is the case.

Good luck.
Eric

edit: your pf raise is loose. Also, I think you may do better to check the turn, as it is way too likely that you are behind but have outs.

Hands like this, I like to let them keep bluffing with underpairs and KQ, yet keep most of my money when they have an ace but better kicker.

I would check/call flop.
Check/call turn.
Bet/call river.

The way you played it, I'm betting this river.

If his opponent is that tight, why check/call both streets, especially with so many outs on the turn?

If I DID decide to check/call the flop, I'm likely gonna c/r the turn. Gives the possibility of a free showdown and gets an extra bet in when you have the best of it or will by the river.

what hands are you trying to fold on this flop with your c/r?

Please explain why your hand is vulnerable. Becuase of possible straight draws? There is no flush draw. Vulnerable to 9/10 is the only think I see. Anything else and you are pretty far ahead...or way behind.

If Hero just calls the flop bet, any gutshot has correct odds to peel.
