UTG (t2770)
Button (t2010)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>. BB pushes. Hero calls!

villian was a pushmonkey with a range of top 45% or so. was this a good call?

At 3-1, call even if he's tighter. You'd be forced to play the next random hand anyway, with only half the stack you have now.

I want to know why you didn't push before this.

You have to call here, but the real problem lies in how you got in this situation.

If you were all in before and got killed with only a few chips left, ok.

But you should really never find yourself in this situation (albeit it will happen rarely) if you have been pushing correctly before.

yeah, i looked through the HH and this was my only shot to open the pot (up until the T2 hand)... would you have pushed this assuming a top 15% calling range for both?

Am I missing something here? How could the BB push when you were acting before him? Or was it the button who pushed?
