5/10 6-max, Prima. Villain is decent, seems average, not aggressive, not too passive, but does min-bet/min-raise often. This usually means weak hand, but it could be different for this Villain - he's been at the table for 2 orbits.

Villain limps CO, I complete in SB with A9s, BB checks.

Flop (30): Ax Js 4x

check, check, Villain bets 30, I call, BB folds

Turn (90): Qs

check, Villain bets 30, I call

River (150): 5s

I bet 150

I saw this as a WA/WB situation. I usually bet this flop ... don't know why I didn't. I don't really see what would call this flop bet that I beat. Js looking me up? Mid-pockets? The table was fairly weak/passive, folding to most of my continuation bets.

You should lead flop, but besides that nothing sticks out.

when he only bets 30 on the turn it doesn't look like you're going to get much out of him on the river, but just gotta bet and pray he still likes his hand.

what are you doing on a 9 river?

what are you doing on a blank river?

guys, i hate the river bet... am i the only one? i think you get paid off close to 0% of the time here. i'm too busy right now to think through the rest of the hand but my analysis of his turn bet = not very strong hand (weak ace)... that wants to eek money out of a draw or a medium pair, the only made hand it is beating that calls. i guess the point is you can have missed flop flush draw but i think full pot is still too much for him to call unless he likes to call down bluffs - the thing is his hand sucks, i just don't think you get called here often enough. i don't think he has a backdoor flush because wouldn't he check behind on turn thinking he doesn't want to get c/r and if he hits it he is money on his "disguised" draw?

when you bet 150 on the river, you are screaming NUUUUTS!
bet 95 and maybe get called.
