i think you're looking at a race here. you're 4 handed w/1 shorty. If you push, your getting called. For me, something this close is completely read dependent.

his raise is large but not a push, which is almost invariably a mediocre hand. worst case you're 50/50 and quite likely up against AQ, AJ, KQ or worse (this is a 22 after all). you're going to have to race eventually with the parity in stack sizes and this definitely seems like a spot you need to get your money in and cross your fingers.

Yeah, given a range like that, I'd definitely push here. What really puts this in the push category is having a big stack going into 3-4 handed. You'll be much freer to blatantly blind steal and improve your chances of taking first place.

I think that's a pretty valid point. With AKs here I'd want to get called, because a lot of the time it's going to be by a worse hand, often one you have dominated. Occasionally it's a race...but 5-handed with these stacks I'll take it.
