i am trying to hook up moniters and not sure if this is what i need...i was going to get this MX4000 (http://http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/eVGA-GeForce-MX-4000-Video-Card-064A8NV93CX-/sem/rpsm/oid/111594/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do)
is this the right piece to get? do i need and anything eles..and i would like to keep the price as little as possible...

No, almost certainly not. It's not a hugely complicated subject, but you'll need to put in a bit more effort than none-at-all to work it out. Start with this: http://www.realtimesoft.com/multimon/

Windows XP and nVidia drivers make it even easier. Multimonitor support is built in, so no 3rd party software is required. You are going to love running dualies... twice the real estate for WAY less that a gigantic monitor would cost. I've been on 2x Samsung 213T LCDs for about 1 year now and just couldn't live without both of 'em.

Pretty much any new nVidia or ATI video card will give you the multimonitor support.... just look for two outputs.

For a cheap card, get this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814140056) instead of that crappy MX4000.

that only has 1 DVI output.....sorry, that was dumb.
