This is my first day off in 26 days. Anyone ever worked longer without a day off? What were you doing that required it?

I'm going to go back to bed now, I might wake up around midnite and 4 table for a while.

no. I haven't worked in a restaurant since I was about 18. I was talking about that one game that I'm not allowed to mention in here for fear of getting my head bashed upon a rock.

I'm just trying to follow the rules, sorry if I stepped too close to the line.

Well the only thing I can say to you is "have a nice fay".

Half the pont of doing that for a living is being able to not work as much, or at least take days off, more often.

I don't do it for a living. I was talking about what I'm going to do after I wake up, if I can ever get back to sleep.

The most I ever worked was 13 in a row and I thought it was hell.

I worked May 15 to Aug 3 with only 3 days off. That's approximately 75-80 days with only 3 days off, or about the same rate you were going. I was playing poker =)

RE: playing poker to get more days off....it's not like I'm putting in 6-8 hours a day, some days it was probably only 1 hour or so. I'm probably still averaging way less than a normal work-week for most people.

I worked 45 days straight once, but I was a stage hand that worked for 4 hours a night, so it really does not count.

I was sure "fay off" was British for masturbation. Meh.

Man, you guys are brutal. (with the typo)
I'm a supervisor in the maintenance dept for a local company here. Actually I'm the night supervisor but the #1 guy is on vacation. He just got back yesterday but I got called in because he had "car trouble" on his way back from Alabama.

A solid month in fishing in bristol bay in Alaska. I was up there for about 7 weeks but a bit over 4 of it was constant fishing. Some stretches in particular were complete hell; Hard physical labor for 10 hours, 4 hours of sleep, 15 hours of wrok, 6 hours of sleep 16 hours of work...
