200+15 SNG, down to 6. Folded to me in CO, i have 22.

Blinds 75/150 and i have 1400. Everyone to act has me slightly covered.

I'll be posting more as they come to me.

5 handed, 150/300, 1500 left after posting in the BB.

77, CO minraises and has me covered....

It's important to note all of the stacks remaining, not just the ones left in the hand.

The guys who had already folded in hand 1 had about 800.

In hand 2, CO was the big stack with 4200. The others had around 1300.

i'd push here. they're going to need something pretty good to call.

ugh... if bigstack villain is playing a lot of pots, i'm more inclined to push, as there's a better chance you'll catch him with something like K5. if he's been tighter, my plan would be to call and push any non-A flop.

yay, just won 3 in a row.

i'm disappointed with how much of an allin-fest these are though. i expected a little more play.

the whole point of me getting all this practice in is to win a wpt seat in the stars DS.

i've only played 2 on stars but they are pretty tight with slower action. not really made it that far into one yet to see if it becomes an allin-fest /images/graemlins/smile.gif

ugh.... these play very differently than ds's b/c so much of the focus on strat here is getting into the money and correct play around the bubble. ds, if i'm not mistaken, is winner take all and so you don't have that.

yeah, i was about to make a thread asking how different /images/graemlins/smile.gif

they play pretty tight. 1500 chips to start. blinds go 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150 etc. 15 minute levels.

so it is indeed a whole different ballgame.

i see the party strategy is play as tight as possible, play the premiums then start loosening up tons as it gets to 4 handed or so.

what do i do here in a slower, deeper, winner takes all format? loosen up tons at the start and hope to build a stack?
