I saw this, thought, "OMG, Valdy, this is going to suck, but out of principle I have to listen to it." And I was surprised to find that it's really really good stuff.
Specifically, I listened to the Classic Collection album or whatever, and it was great.
My life-ambition now is to make a punk cover of "Rock N' Roll Song", just because it'd be sacrilicious.
