Villain in hand is a pretty decent tag 20vpip , 13pfr, 1.5 total aggression

Main question is on the turn when i get check/raised. Should i be going into call down mode or do you like the 3 bet with the intention of calling down i might add

Turn 3bet is spewing. Just call down. 1.5 isn't very aggressive, so what do you think he's raising you twice with? Not 2 pair of better?

I'm confused. Where is the turn check taise? I think he hit a set or some kind of two pair. But I would call down.

There is only one way to play this hand against this opponent IMO: 3bet the flop and call down a cap or a turn raise.

sorry about the title was busy on a session when i posted this so i did it kind of quickly and thought i had position on him ops. Im curious to know what hands does villain have that would constitute two pair here or a straight that would cold call and early position raise. I have not personally done anything crazy on the table so i have a tight player image but i have been very aggresive.
Does villain cold call here with something like 98 or 64 here. 10,7 for the straight doesnt make sense for a cold call either. Having 150 hands on villain he has not gotten tricky with qq's or better so villains likely holding that im behind to is 99 88 maybe 66 but probably not 44. Is it correct to place one of these 3 holdings. What about a possible 3-bet fold line if it seems were assuming im beat.

I don't 3-bet the turn here. I call down and expect to lose to 99.

I hate getting check raised on the turn. 70% of the time, you're usually beat. Of course every situation is different. In this case, there is nothing that tells you that you're beat aside from his betting pattern. I could find a fold, so I'd call down in the absense of an obvious straight, flush, or overpair.
