Last two are pretty easy pushes IMO - not real sure about the first. ITM, sure - but with pleny of chips, I don't know that I like forcing him to call with this hand.

I'm not a 109er, but:

1. I wouldn't push that. I just don't think you have enough FE. He's short (6xbb) and it's ITM, so he's at the stage where he'll call with anything half decent.

2. Push

3. I know you need chips here to maintain FE after going through the blinds, but 79 isn't enough for me here. I'll take my chances later on and fold here.

Got curious with the replies and ran the numbers on the third one:

With a "loose" range - 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+ (which I think is reasonable given the relative sizes)...

...this is just about as close to "any 2" as you can get:

Push hands: 22+,A2+,K2+,Q2+,J2+,T2+,93o+,92s+,84o+,82s+,74o+,7 2s+,63o+,62s+,53o+,52s+,42s+,32s (91%)

Edit: First one is slighly favorable: +.6% - personally I avoid tangling with shorties that can put a significant dent in me (leak perhaps).

Yeh I'm not surprised. I might feel a little more desperate in the game, but on paper I'd want to be a little shorter or see a blind increase in the next couple of hands.

I go ahead and gamble with all 3. You need to take risks that are +.5% ICM or more.

granted I only play the 22s and 33s, but i push all 3 I think routinely.

I push them all.

Easy pushs on all IMO.

Hand 1: I'm sure pushing is +$EV. I don't always do it with a sub 50% card equity hand though. I have folded here, and I have pushed here.

Hand 2 & 3: I can't find reasons not to move allin with these two hands.

The first is a fold because he has so few chips his calling range is huge, why double him up?

Durron: What range, exactly, do you put him on here?
