Bees gone, Hornets in?

I had a major yellow jacket problem this summer. They made a hive right inside a wall on my balcony. Terminix took care of that, but now I see Hornets flying into and around my balcony door. Should I be worried about the Hornets moving into the now vacant hive or am I being paranoid?

If you didn't get the hive removed, I think you can expect new occupants.
